Apostolic Way Ministries
Apostolic Way Ministries is an independent Apostolic Pentecostal ministry which strives to maintain the fundamentals of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith (The Acts 2:38 message, Jesus Name baptism, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and operating in the gifts of the Spirit). We strive to pass this down to the generations that come after us and to as many as the Lord our God will call; as scripture states in Acts 2:39, “For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” We strive to walk with Jesus and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and extend the gospel message to all that we may encounter. Like the apostle Paul stated, “Although I am free from all and not anyone’s slave, I have made myself a slave to everyone in order to win more people. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law – though I myself am not under the law – to win those under the law. To those who are without the law, like one without the law – though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ – to win those without the law. To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.” 1 Corinthians 9:19-22 CSB. We strive to maintain the Spirit of the law rather than to solely focus on the letter of the law lest we become legalistic or as modern day Pharisees. By this means and to this end it is the goal of Apostolic Way Ministries to extend the gospel message to as many as we shall encounter and as many as the Lord our God will call; inviting them to receive a personal relationship and encounter with the One whose all-encompassing love, abundant grace, and objective truth will forever change the course of their lives, Jesus Christ!

GETTING TO KNOW THE MINISTER
My name is Brandon Vercher. In my professional life I have served in first response for many years. I served as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) with an Ambulance Service, as a Firefighter/EMT with a Fire Department as well as serving as their EMS Director and one of their Fire Service / EMS Instructors, as an EMS Educator with an Emergency Services Education company, and now for several years as a Law Enforcement Officer having served in both Patrol and School Resource Officer capacities. Before which I served in the mental health field as a Mental Health Technician and in several capacities in the private security and private investigations industries including supervisory roles. To say I have an extensive knowledge of First Response and the current crises our world is facing is an understatement. From mental health issues, to drug abuse, to domestic violence, to child abuse/neglect/abandonment, to crimes of violence, to active shooter situations, to the horrors of human trafficking, or just even responding to motor vehicle accidents or house fires (especially where fatalities are involved); the trauma first responders experience within their time in service is incredible. As a Law Enforcement Officer one may never know what traffic stop or call for service may be their last. They may never know what morning or evening they put on that uniform and go in for shift may be the last time that they see their home or kiss their family goodbye. They do all of this while being berated, fought, spit on, shot at, threatened, having their families threatened and operating within the dynamics of complex office politics. I say all of that to say this. There is no doubt that the world that we are living in is in a fallen state due to sin. And there is no doubt in the scripture when it states, “But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 CSB. I have even experienced such within personal narcissistically abusive relationships. We are living in a time that now more than ever the world needs Jesus. Well, let’s be real though, the world has always needed Jesus. We have been living like this since the fall of man.
My point in saying all of this in a simple introduction to myself is to say that I am someone who has experienced life. I am battle-worn as are most of us these days. And while I love serving my community as a first responder and it had always been one of my dreams since I was a child. It was meant to be a job. Because at my core I am a minister. I was called at a young age. I have had a passion for God since my youth. I was baptized in Jesus’ Name and later received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at youth camp. The call grew heavy on me during my junior high and high school years. Although I can remember my mother saying I used to preach to my stuffed animals long before that haha. I even remember attempting to make a church out of the old shed that stood in our backyard when I was a child. Anyway, I was meant to go to bible college and preach and teach. But the distractions of the world and teenage angst and rebellion took it’s hold for a while. But in my adulthood I came back to it, the faith and the call. But again, in life we go through things. And it would seem that every time I grew close to achieving progress toward that calling something would happen to throw me off course. I’ve experienced divorce and traumatic relationships. I’ve also experienced my own running from the call. I’ve also experienced the ole church red tape that would seem insurmountable at times. But God’s call never left me. And He’s always brought me back to it. So what I want to express here is that I am by no means perfect. None of us are. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. That is the point of the gospel message. Jesus paid that price for us. That is the good news. Redemption. Restoration. Forgiveness. Grace. Love. Truth. We find all of these things in Jesus Christ. When God looks at us He sees us spotless because He’s looking at us through the blood of Jesus. And that blood covers it all my friends. If we’ve called on Him and claimed that free gift that faith in Him and His accomplished work and redemptive atonement for our sins on the cross offers us. Then we are able to claim that promised gift of the baptism of Holy Ghost and begin a whole new miraculous life in HIm. So I want to deliver that good news to as many as I can. Are you ready to start that wonderful journey? So as for me I am a minister. That is who and what God has called me to be. And that is what I will always be, no matter my life circumstance, no matter who I am talking to, no matter where I am, no matter what is happening in the world around me. I am a minister of our Lord Jesus Christ. “When I came to you, brothers and sisters, announcing the mystery of God to you, I did not come with brilliance of speech or wisdom. I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not be based on human wisdom but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and in difficulties, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. In God’s Kingdom everything is upside done, the first shall be last and the last shall be first; and He will turn your world upside down too, in the best of ways! Are you ready for your world to be shaken up? Are you ready for the amazing journey He has in store for you? Then dive on in and let’s walk this road and take this journey together!
