Our Coming to Christ and Calling to Ministry:
Together, our journey with God started in November 2015 when we were both Baptized and received the Holy Spirit through the Last Reformation Ministry which is headed by Servant of Christ, Torben Sondergaard.
Our Calling to this Soul Center:
Through our own Ministry, we have helped to plant hundreds of disciples in various areas of God’s Kingdom between Boston, MA, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Haiti, Africa, and various places internationally. We have Baptized and delivered numerous souls for Christ and hope to continue this through our Soul Center but in an expanded way thanks to Christian Leaders Alliance under and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Since joining Christian Leaders Alliance, we have become members of Harborside Christian Church, and invite people to attend Harborside Christian Church as well. Additionally, we are also members of God Help International Ministries where we are active Prayer Warriors under the Spiritual leadership of Apostle Aba Etu.
Most recently, we have also been called to become Ambassadors of Peacefire, which is a 501c (3) Charitable Organization that equips the Body of Christ to respond to conflicts as ambassadors of Jesus Christ; all while applying Biblical wisdom combined with a relationship of relentless reliance on Jesus Christ.
Our Ministry & Impact:
Our Ministry Passage is:
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24
Currently, Zadina serves in her online Ministry, called Fearless for Christ where she helps others learn how to worship God in Spirit & in Truth across, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Her husband, Jelfkeegan Renard can be found on his online ministry which serves the Haitian Community across YouTube and Facebook @Mars Missionary Outreach International.
Looking ahead, I look forward to using my skills in Sociology, Organizational Leadership, Business Marketing, and Ministry Leading to help Minister and serve Souls through our Soul Center, Fruitful Garden Ministry Practice; and hope to make a positive impact in God’s Kingdom through a diverse myriad of ways alongside my husband, Jelfkeegan Renard. Together, we hope to be fruitful and multiply God’s Kingdom; one person, one heart, one soul, one spirit at a time; through spirit-filled discipleship, pre-/post marital coaching, and many other Ministerial Offerings and Services.
Fruitful Garden Ministry Practice Proposal
Issue:
The main issue is that nearly half of all marriages in North Carolina end in Divorce according to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services in a study conducted in 2016. In Mecklenburg County where we will be operating our Ministry Practice, out of a total population of 1,054,835; the total number of marriages were counted at 7,242 and out of this total number of the total marriages there were 3,623 divorces.
When we take a broad brush and examine the divorce rates for the U.S., according to “the American Psychological Association, approximately 40-50% of first marriages end in divorce. The divorce rate for second marriages is even higher, with approximately 60-67% of second marriages ending in divorce.” Furthermore, “…The divorce rate in the United States is highest among adults aged 25-39, with the majority of divorces occurring at the end of the first five years of marriage. The most common reasons for divorce are communication issues, infidelity, and financial problems, among others…”
Despite these numbers, there is a misconception that Christian Marriages are ending at Divorce rates similar to Non-Christian Marriages which simply is just not true.
“…contrary to what’s been reported for years, the divorce rate is not 50 percent; it’s more like 30 percent. And then we find that people who keep God at the center of their home and family stay married at far greater rates, and even thrive within those marriages. One of the reasons for this is that those whose first commitment is to the lordship of Jesus put fewer expectations upon their spouses to meet emotional needs that only God can meet. The lessening of unrealistic expectations gives marriages a stronger foundation upon which to withstand difficult times…”
Summarizing these findings, it has become apparent that in general, whether a couple identifies as Christian before marriage or not, the institution of Marriage is under attack; and to address the solution more effectively, it would behoove us to identify the problem from a Spiritual point of view. From a Christian point of view however, we know what the scriptures say about spiritual warfare and how we must address such issues.
11 “…Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places…” Ephesians 6:11-12
As it relates to Christian marriages, despite having a lower divorce rate in comparison to non-Christian marriages, we are still faced with a problem and the best way to understand and address this problem is through the guise of Spiritual Warfare as instructed in Ephesians 6:12. While we may employ certain strategies in dealing with marital issues from a secular point of view that may be useful in some ways, it still becomes overarchingly important to address Christian Divorce with a Christian Solution and with Christian Principles that dictate how we should resolve such matters of the heart.
“…Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it…” Proverbs 4:23
This now leads us to the purpose of our Ministry Practice, Fruitful Garden.
Purpose:
Through our Ministry Practice, we hope to serve the following populations: couples who are thinking about marriage from the Christian faith; couples who are thinking about marriage who may have been raised Christian but fell away from the faith; couples who may not yet be Christians but have a calling to become Christian before they are married. In this way, we hope to use our Ministry Practice to bring others to Christ through the institution of Marriage through the headship of Jesus the Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Plan:
Under the Spiritual Covering of the Holy Spirit, The Christian Leaders Alliance; Soul Center Network, and Peacefire Organizations, we hope to utilize “The Seven Connections,” coined by President and Professor Henry Reyenga of CLI; as our overarching guideline in serving potential couples throughout our Ministry Practice. Additionally, we will be utilizing such resources as “The Marriage Connection,” and the “Pre-Marriage Badge;” both written by Prof. and Senior Pastor, Steve Elzinga as our framework for the pre/post marriage coaching among the resources provided through the pre-marriage course at CLA. The Marriage Connection will further provide the framework by which we will explore the 9 Essential Christian Premarital Counseling Topics which include; (1) Your spiritual foundation; (2) Your families of origin; (3) The meaning of marriage; (4) Your spiritual intimacy; (5) Your communication; (6) Your conflict; (7) Your view of money; (8) Your future; and finally, (9) Your physical intimacy and sexual history.
- The Seven Connections include the Following:
Connection One – God
Connection Two – Spouse/Friend
Connection Three – Family
Connection Four – Small Groups and Friends
Connection Five – Church
Connection Six – Kingdom
Connection Seven – World
In sum, we pray that by utilizing the tools and resources provided through the Christian Leaders Alliance; Soul Center Network, and Peacefire, that we will be able to serve and bring to Christ those who have a calling of submitting their marriages to the Headship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ for the benefit of God’s Kingdom on earth, and in heaven.
