About
A Knot Above Ministries is a Christ-centered soul care and chaplaincy ministry serving Lower Fairfield County. Founded by a career Fire Lieutenant with 28 years of frontline service, we offer compassionate, confidential support rooted in faith, lived experience, and professional training.

Founder
As a first responder and Fire Lieutenant, I’ve spent nearly three decades serving my community and mentoring the next generation. I am a certified EMS Instructor, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and Peer Support Specialist. For over 10 years, I’ve been a trusted confidant for people facing work, family, and personal crises. My own journey—overcoming childhood abuse and surviving cancer—shapes a ministry built on empathy, resilience, and hope. With God’s guidance, as a Credentialed Minister and Licensed Chaplain. I’m called to expand this service through prayer, pastoral care, and chaplaincy.

Mission
To provide A Free 100% Volunteer, Christ-centered care that brings stability, unity, and healing tying stronger knots of faith, family, and community. Services
• Prayer and Soul Care: One-on-one prayer, spiritual encouragement, and crisis support (in person or web-based).
• Chaplaincy: Fire/EMS chaplaincy; critical incident support; conflict navigation; grief and loss care.
• Officiant Services: Weddings, baptisms/dedications, memorials, and blessings.
• Family Wellness & Education: Private classes on first aid, wellness, stress management, and preparing for parenthood.
• Training & Mentorship: EMS education, mental health first aid instruction, and professional development for new responders.
• Community Ministry: Christian services and visitation for nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Approach
