Summary of Soul Center We are serving the community at Noenieput, the farmers community and their workers in the western part of the Kalahari district as well as the smaller communities in the region
Description Kalahari MOP is led by ordained minister Olof de Kock and his wife, Antoinette. Olof is working fulltime as a missionary at Noenieput in the Western part of the Kalahari. MOP stands for Mission of Presence, Prayer, Preaching and Praise.
We're reaching out to various groups through prayer meetings and street work, meeting the people at their place of living. A current outreach is towards those that cannot read, reading through a Bible book, explaining to them what the Lord is teaching us. We're also going from house to house, meeting the people, praying for them, and make sure that the foundation that they have of the gospel, is sound and founded on the Word of God.
As there are a lot of brokenness and spiritual hurt, we'll be looking into training and equipping ourselves to be able to address those issues as well.
We're looking at children and youth ministry, especially during the school holidays, as there is no facilities that they have to keep them occupied.
We also have an online ministry, working through topics and bible books, as well as encouraging the people to pray for our ministry.
Ministry offerings:
- Prayer
- Bible study or Pulpit message
- Teaching and Training people to be a witness for Christ
- Evangelism
- Online ministry
- The Lord's Supper
