ABOUT US
Divine Faith Builders Christian Life Coaching Centre is a ministry rooted in the heart of Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya. Led by Ordained Minister of the Word Geoffrey Shigali and his wife Sarah, our centre is dedicated to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through the transformative power of faith, coaching, and community. We exist to offer hope, healing, and practical spiritual guidance to all whom the Lord leads to us.

OUR MISSION
We are called to reach out to people in informal and formal settlements across Nairobi — particularly in Kibera — offering the Word of hope, encouragement, and motivation, and holistically nourishing their body, soul, and spirit. Through Life Coaching, Discipleship, Parenting, Mentoring, Counselling, Bible Study, and Prayer, we walk step-by-step with broken families, grieving people, and those who have been stuck in their faith, inviting them every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

MINISTERIAL OFFERINGS

• We offer the following services to individuals and the wider Kibera community:
• Life Coaching — Personalized guidance to help individuals discover and fulfil God's purpose for their lives.
• Discipleship Coaching — Strengthening believers in their walk with Christ through intentional mentorship.
• Parenting Coaching — Equipping parents with faith-based tools to raise godly families.
• Mentoring — Supporting upcoming church leaders and pastors in their ministry journey.
• Prayer Sessions — Corporate and individual prayer for breakthrough, healing, and direction.
• Bible Study Sessions — In-depth, Spirit-led exploration of Scripture for spiritual growth.
• Community Fellowship — Building authentic, Christ-centred community within Kibera.
• Counselling — Compassionate, faith-informed support for emotional and relational challenges.

WHO WE SERVE
We serve everyone whom the Lord leads to us — a soul centre with a capacity of 1 to 60 people. Our doors are open to broken families, grieving individuals, those struggling in their faith journey, and anyone seeking spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and hope.

MEET OUR LEADERS
Geoffrey and Sarah Shigali met in 2003 and were married in April 2004. Since then, they have dedicated their lives to ministry work within the Pentecostal Assemblies of God — Kenya. They began serving together in Nakuru City as small group leaders before the Lord directed them to Nairobi, where they continued to serve as small group leaders. Both were raised in Christian families and were introduced to Christ at an early age — Geoffrey at age 14 and Sarah at age 13. They have been mentored by many respected pastors within the Pentecostal Assemblies of God — Kenya, a foundation that prepared them for greater ministry in leadership and the proclamation of the Gospel.
Geoffrey has served in various leadership roles, including the Deacon Department, until 2020 when God called him into a new ministry. He was ordained as a Minister of the Word by the Christian Leaders Alliance in 2025 and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Nations University. He is also a certified Christian Life Coach. In 2021, Geoffrey and Sarah planted Rivers of Joy Bible Ministries in Nairobi, where Geoffrey serves as a part-time lead pastor. For church fellowship, they gather at Rivers of Joy Bible Ministries at Undugu Grounds, Kibera, every Sunday morning.

• Friday: Bible Study — In-depth engagement with the Word of God.
• Saturday: Community Fellowship — Building relationships and sharing life together.
• Sunday Morning: Church Fellowship at Rivers of Joy Bible Ministries, Undugu Grounds, Kibera.
