The Praying Cowboy Church

The Praying Cowboy Church exists to bring healing, hope, and spiritual renewal through the power of Jesus. Inspired by the strength simplicity of cowboy life, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for prayer, pastoral care, biblical teaching, and community outreach. Our vision is to raise up a community marked compassion, unity, and spiritual resilience-where every person can encounter God, discover their purpose and walk freedom.

The Watchman

Hi, I’m Brad. I live in Eagle Mountain, Utah, with my wife of 18 years Alix. I got an online ordination in 2010 and didn’t think much about it until I was asked in May 2025 to officiate at my wife’s brother’s wedding. It stirred something inside me as I began to research different weddings and beliefs, and I realized I wanted to expand my knowledge and understanding of God, Jesus, the Bible and ministry. I’m looking forward to learning all I can and using it to benefit my fellow man.

From the age of 13 until 33, I had no need for God or Jesus. I just wanted to have fun, do whatever felt good, be as rebellious as possible without going to jail (although I did manage to see the inside of a jail a couple times). Growing up where there was only church or no church, I had no relationship with the Lord. I sinned. I got into alcohol and drugs. When I joined the Coast Guard at the age of 20, everywhere I went the first thing I did was find the closest EM club or bar and gravitate towards the ‘party crowd’. It’s where I found companionship, although it was never there the next morning. I was never proud of anything I did, other than play my guitar and sing.

I had a wife and three daughters when I felt the need to get back to church, and I went back to the only one I knew-the LDS church. It was familiar, it was my heritage, it was home. I had known for years about the oddities but accepted them because it was ‘our church’. I felt looking anywhere else would be an insult to my family. And so there I stayed for the next 30 years, until I was visited by a white lion who brought me out of the fog of indoctrination and into the true light of Christ.

I have seen others on here who go to great lengths to slam the LDS church. I feel if you want to know why people leave the church, the truth is out there to be found. I no longer practice the faith I was raised in but I don’t expend my efforts throwing shade on what someone else believes. I can tell you from a lifetime of experience that it isn’t easy breaking out of the mold, but it can be done when you stop drinking the Kool-Aid. My calling is to help those who seek help, not to drag other religions through the mud. Cult or not, that’s not my choice to make.

I am now an ordained chaplain, police chaplain, veterans’ chaplain, disaster response & community crisis chaplain, hospital chaplain. I am in the process of starting a Soul Center for veterans and first responders; it will be The Watchman Soul Center. I’m hoping to be able to reach out to others in Utah County who are seeking something outside of organized religion. Having served in the military for 20 years, and spent time as a reserve deputy sheriff, reserve police sergeant, firefighter and EMT, I have a little insight into the veteran and first responder soul.

I’m looking forward to continuing my studies with CLI/CLA and furthering my knowledge of Jesus. And if I am able to help one soul find direction in this life it will all be worth it.

The Watchmen

The Watchmen is a brotherhood of men, united by faith and the power of Jesus Christ. We are men called to rise up together, reclaim our God-given purpose, and return to the identity and strength we were created to embody.

In a world that has lost its way, we stand firm as Watchmen—protectors, leaders, and servants—committed to rebuilding families, restoring friendships, and renewing communities. We are men who refuse to settle for mediocrity or drift with the tide of culture. Instead, we pursue Christ-centered lives marked by integrity, courage, and service.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to return men to what we were intended to be—men who lead with love, serve with humility, and walk boldly in the calling of Christ. As iron sharpens iron, we sharpen one another, holding each other accountable and encouraging one another to grow in faith, wisdom, and strength.

Together, we:

  • Build authentic brotherhood rooted in faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Lead our families, serve our communities, and stand for truth.
  • Encourage one another to grow as men of God—strong, humble, and courageous.
  • Live out Ephesians 4:1–2: Walking worthy of the calling we have received.

If you’re ready to join a brotherhood of purpose, faith, and action—The Watchmen is where you belong. Let’s stand together, rebuild what’s been lost, and become the men God created us to be.

The Wayfinder Coach

The Wayfinder Coach: Navigating Faith, Purpose, and Belonging

Guiding Men, Women, and Young Adults Toward Purpose-Driven Lives

Are you standing at a crossroads, trying to figure out your next step, your true identity, or how to live out your faith in a noisy, fast-paced world?

The Wayfinder Coach is a dynamic, Christ-centered coaching ministry dedicated to helping men, women, and young adults cultivate an unwavering faith, discover their unique calling, and step into confident, servant leadership. As a proud Soul Center Affiliate with the Christian Leaders Alliance, our ministry is grounded in the unchanging truth of Scripture. We recognize that today’s culture presents unique challenges across different generations and walks of life, and we are here to provide the spiritual map, practical tools, and community needed to lead lives of integrity, joy, and purpose.

Our Calling: Mentoring, Ministry, and Meaningful Community

We are more than just a coaching service; we are a community of growth—a safe space where your faith is strengthened, your gifts are uncovered, and your path becomes clear. Our mission is to guide you in alignment with Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Our core focus areas are designed to help you stand firm and flourish:

Mentoring & Discipleship

Following the beautiful pattern of Christ’s relational ministry, we offer structured, intentional mentoring. Seasoned leaders walk alongside men, women, and young adults, pouring out wisdom, life experience, and biblical insight. We aim to help you become deeply proficient in the Word of God and fully confident in applying it to your modern, daily life.

Identity & Leadership Training

Every person is called to influence others—whether that is leading a household, stepping into a college classroom, navigating the corporate workplace, or serving in the local church. Our training focuses on developing servant leadership. We reject the world’s version of aggressive success, choosing instead to lead through humility, emotional intelligence, and selfless example, just as Jesus modeled (Mark 10:45).

Ministry & Calling

We intentionally equip you to identify and utilize your unique spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ. The Wayfinder Coach moves beyond surface-level discussions to active engagement, empowering you to minister effectively right where you are—in your friendships, your career, and your community—to living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Authentic Community & Connection

We cultivate a sanctuary of genuine, transparent, and grace-driven relationships. We offer spaces for men, women, and young adults to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), find relief from the pressure of perfectionism, and stand united against anxiety and spiritual opposition.

Managed Prayerfully

The Wayfinder Coach is managed prayerfully by Scott W. Weems, LCM, a Trained Life Coach Minister. Scott’s deep commitment to biblical soul care, identity coaching, and leadership development is backed by standard-setting professional affiliations:

  • He holds credentials as a Life Coach Minister through the Christian Leaders Alliance and is an Ordained Minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers.
  • Scott is a dedicated member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and The International Christian Coaches Association, ensuring that your coaching experience is grounded in theological depth, practical strategy, and ethical care.

Under Scott’s guidance, The Wayfinder Coach seeks to help men, women, and young adults grow into the very image of Christ, preparing them not just to survive life’s transitions, but to thrive in a lifelong walk of discipleship powered by the Holy Spirit.

Victorious Life Fellowship of Clearwater, Florida

Getting to Know Us

We are Henry and Pam Reyenga, married since 1983. We have five children and sixteen grandchildren. Both of us are graduates of Dordt College. Henry was a graduate of Calvin Seminary in 1987. Henry was ordained in the Christian Reformed Church in 1988 and with the Christian Leaders Alliance since 2014. Together we planted four churches and pastored one existing church. In 2001, the vision of Christian Leaders was born, and we founded this ministry, formally recognized as a religious non-profit in 2005. In 2012, we left employment as a church minister and now minister as a fellowship soul center minister in a bi-vocational voluntary calling.

Our Coming to Christ and Calling to Ministry:

We have walked with God since our early youth. Since first courting in the early 1980s, we discerned God calling us to ministry.

Our marriage passage was:

Luke 6:37-38  Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

After our marriage, we grew through the mentorship of many notable pastors and teachers. In our first year of marriage, one of those teachers, Rhea Zandee, introduced Pam to the Victorious Life in Christ. This daily abiding Life in Christ was foundational to set us on a path of daily abiding and victory in Christ as a called couple in ministry. This perspective grounded us through life’s journey and fueled ongoing growth into maturity as Christians over sin and Satanic attack.

We then enjoyed decades of influential mentors who spoke into our lives to foster more growth and ministry! Praise God!

Our Calling to this Soul Center

Inspired by a victorious life connection in Jesus Christ, we minister to those in our lives as time permits. We are grateful that the Christian Leaders Alliance has called and equipped us to minister at this fellowship soul center.

So as volunteer ministers, we minister to our community. We are also members of Harborside Christian Church, and we invite people to attend Harborside Christian Church.

Together, we are interested in helping people walk in a victorious life in Jesus Christ. We believe that the souls of men and women are hungry for a spiritual connection with God, and that relationship is found in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Who We Serve:

While we are busy serving at Christian Leaders Ministries, we love to minister to those God brings into our lives in our condo village, golf course connections, and through serendipitous meetings.

Often, we are called to minister to those connected to the Christian Leaders Ministries.

Our Ministry:

We enjoy raising ministers! Henry is a ministry training professor at Christian Leaders College and Institute in many areas of ministry, including People Smart for Ministry, Pastoral Care and Marriage, Church, and Ministry. He has also taught in many mini-courses. We have taught mini-courses together. Recently, we completed a four-credit college course called “Sex Education and Conversations.”

We share a passion for sharing the faith with those who do not know Jesus Christ or are exploring the Christian faith. Henry enjoys ministering to individuals and families he meets at his golf clubs.

Souls Involved: 25-50

We minister through prayer, Bible study leadership, mentoring, and hospitality. We minister to family members. Further, we have invited many families to Harborside Christian Church, and many have started coming. We have done marriage counseling and post-divorce counseling. Henry has counseled men in accountability ways. Henry also is one of the Bible study leaders at a local Bible study.

Ministry in the lives of older adults and their caregivers

I love finding encouragement for older adults and their caregivers in the Bible. Of course, there are many references I could share here; but here are some examples of the comfort our souls can find.

Psalms 131:2 But I have stilled and quieted my soul…

In the New Testament we find more evidence of how God provides for peace such as Jesus and the Soul.

Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls…

During more than 40 years of my career, much of my experience included managing and teaching in mental health programs, finally working for about a decade in the field of gerontology, teaching caregivers to work effectively with older adults. The highlights of my work are in teaching groups and individuals how to engage others with respect, honesty, empathy, and communication skills to show care and understanding.  Jesus taught us to be known by how we love one another, and this was a primary guiding  mantra for my teaching and helping years.
