S.A.L.T. Ministries

S.A.L.T. Ministries is founded by licensed minister, Christopher Smith. I am unmarried, embracing this season of singleness while focusing on the Family of the Lord Most High. I have not always walked with God. Our Father called me into ministry over three decades ago, but sadly I didn’t answer the call until these last few years, and only now my life is worth boasting of His goodness!

Matthew 25:31-40 summarizes my purpose in ministry through faith and for hospitality to others who are in need, discipling others who are also called to be salt and light that they may be thoroughly equipped to provide for the needs of the less fortunate and so glorify Christ the Lord!!

S.A.L.T. Ministries is an acronym for Seven Arenas of Life & Testing – spiritual, mental, physical (spirit, soul, and body), marital, parental (oikos discipleship), social, financial (evangelical outreach)! Beginning with the whole health of the entire person (1 Thessalonians 5:23) created in God’s image, we then teach them to be a kingdom husband/wife to prepare to fulfill the cultural mandate (Genesis 1:27-28) to be fruitful and multiply and also teach and equip leaders who will go, teach, and equip leaders to fulfill the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) through discipleship and outreach!

As a recovering addict (24 years) and alcoholic (22 years) who found hope in none other than JESUS Christ Himself (3 years in recovery), my primary ministry is to the ones who still struggle with addictions, sharing the message of Hope found in Jesus (the only One who can break their chains) when they believe in Him to have power over the defeated darkness and truly call upon His name for their salvation. Once they have been delivered, we teach them about the Father’s cultural mandate and the Son’s great commission that are only possible to us who believe by the Power of the Holy Ghost who has given us new life and equips us to the ministries He has called us to!!

We offer prayer, hospitality, recovery counseling, conflict resolution, Bible study/teaching, and officiant services to approximately 100-150 souls, which will multiply in the blessing and favor of the Lord! Amen.

Sanctuary Chaplaincy

Sanctuary Chaplaincy operates as a hybrid, CPE and CTFR-trained Specialized Care Ministry Practice. This ministry functions as a community-based MinistryBiz providing professional, confidential pastoral care, advanced crisis intervention, and disaster response across local (CO, WY, UT) and virtual settings.
The primary mission of this Soul Center is to serve as a sacred witness at major thresholds of crisis, comfort, and transition.

The core scope of services includes:
• Sacred Rites & Ceremonies
• Family Foundations & Pastoral Counsel
• Fertility, Birth & Perinatal Spiritual Holding
• Hospice, End-of-Life & Bereavement: Threshold Care
• First Response Trauma, Crisis & Community Spiritual Care

Getting to know me:
Sanctuary Chaplaincy Soul Center is created, founded and led by myself, Rev. Chaplain Deziray Measom. I am an ordained minister and licensed chaplain with CLA, and a B.Div Cand. with intention to go on to attain my M.Div. I am a single mother and a chosen, fought, bought and paid for child of God committed to serving as the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
My Calling to Christ, and My Calling to this Ministry:

I had grown up believing in God but was allowed to choose for myself what I believed, my parent had religious injury & hadn’t wanted to do the same to us. There are multiple times when the Holy Spirit had reached out and communicated with me before I understood Him, but then something happened where I was renewed and transformed overnight after reading Genesis 2, I’ve been committed to Christ ever since. I’ve read the Bible multiple times and plan to never ever stop.
In my passion to learn Christ and the Word more, I was seeking exactly what Christian Leaders Alliance, Institute, and College is. Through prayer and the workings of the Holy Spirit, I found CLI, and began courses, with no plan initially to become ordained, I simply wanted to learn the Bible more… Here I am a couple years later, founding a Soul Center through CLA as ordained clergy.

Truly incredible:
Through Scripture, prayer, worship and genuine submission, it became clear that Christ was calling me to chaplaincy.
During some of my most dark, deep, scary, lonely sufferings…Christ was always right beside me, every single moment, he never abandoned me nor forsook me. Before I knew Him, He was there, yet it took knowing Him to recognize Him on me. Therefore, if I can help someone feel seen and held in a moment of true crisis, if I can support someone in order that they don’t feel alone and abandoned at a profound threshold, then I’ll know I’m doing what pleases my Lord. We aren’t meant to do this life alone.
As a Professional First Responder Chaplain with the Spiritual Care Association, Certified Crisis, Trauma & First Response Chaplain, an Emergency Disaster Services Chaplain with the Salvation Army, and an Ordained Fire/EMS Chaplain with CLA, I have taken CISM as well as FEMA certifications for in the field, rapid spiritual response.

My Calling to this Soul Center:
After doing CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) at a very busy, Trauma 1 city hospital, and working as a Home Health Hospice Chaplain, after much reflection, discussion with mentors & prayer, l decided to launch my private chaplaincy by registering as a Soul Center with CLA, a chaplaincy ministry that is not limited to the confines of corporations, time limits, or insurance policies that genuinely hinder true spiritual care.

Who I Serve:
Any and all are welcome at Sanctuary Chaplaincy. I myself am an ordained nondenominational Christian minister & chaplain, yet I am rigorously trained in serving interfaith as well no faith, and in meeting people exactly where they are at. I have baptized entire families, led pre-marriage counseling, I have started bereavement groups for those processing change or loss and helped people navigate addiction recovery, in addition to serving as a healthcare & hospice chaplain. I genuinely enjoy talking to people and supporting them however I can spiritually.

Souls Involved:
10-25
By acting as a registered Religious Society under the Alliance, this center serves as an essential ecclesiastical covering to deploy trauma-informed soul care, disaster relief, sacred lifecycle rites and spiritual holding directly to the community whenever and wherever need and/or crisis strikes.

ALL ABOUT US

Hello, My name is Ashley Antonacci-Martini and I am married since 2012 to the love of my life, my best friend Anthony Martini. Fortunately, I have had the pleasure of building a life together with this man I call my forever for the past twenty years. We are high school sweethearts. He is my first, my last, and my everything. We have three children and a menagerie of pets. We are both graduates of Long Island University: CW Post Campus. My background being in biology/education and his in the criminal justice field.

We have served our community in various ways throughout the years. I have dedicated my time working/volunteering as an emergency medical technician and school teacher for many years before I was a mother. I have also served my church/community over the years by being part of the worship team, Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School crew leader, World Vision partner/ child sponsor, supporter of Samaritan’s Purse, ministry partner with a pregnancy prayer group, Christian newsletter writer, and currently an American Heritage Girls (Christian scouting group) volunteer. I became a commended minister in 2023 with Christian Leaders Alliance. This has helped me to begin my online ministry work as @ A Minister’s Journey on various social media platforms and write my first devotional book (see below).

Anthony has also served his community well over the years. He was a volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technician for many years before becoming a dad and starting his career in public service as a public safety officer. His diligence and faith in God has advanced him very well in his career. He also had the honor of obtaining an Eagle Scout status through Boy Scouts of America when he was growing up. He also currently serves the church as an usher.

WHEN GOD FOUND US

We were raised Catholic but we never really had a chance to get build a strong relationship with God. It all began with our desire to have children. Our faith was really catapulted when we became pregnant with our first child. Something that we thought was going to be easy happened to be quite a struggle. Unfortunately, we didn’t understand how to seek out the Lord like we do now. However, with the little prayers we knew, we prayed for that child and prayed the Lord would find us a church to call home so we could raise her in the right way of the Lord. Of course God delivered and shortly after she was born we had a Christian church to call home. We pioneered our way through it all. We had finally began to learn what it meant for Jesus to be the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It was refreshing to come to learn of a loving and forgiving God. After almost a decade of struggle to conceive our three children, God has called us to help other couples praying for the fruits of their womb and any other areas they may need prayer in.

OUR MINISTRY
We just cannot stop talking about God and His goodness wherever we go. Being a homeschool family allows us much more freedom to travel and practice our Christian beliefs. We often find ourselves ministering to others in our travels with our RV to all different places in the United States. We also are a part of many different Christian homeschool communities where we often get together and discuss God’s guidance in our lives.

Often times, we love to witness to our family and friends about the goodness of God in our own lives in hopes they too will get to know God. Being hospitable is our pleasure and specialty. We enjoy opening our home and kitchen to family and friends. We often host celebrations, cook a good meal, and always offer a cozy place to sleep. You can often catch us bringing out the karaoke machine and singing Christian worship music too. We absolutely enjoy serving others in our lives. This often leads to more opportunities to have Godly conversations. We also love to intercede and offer prayer to anyone who needs it in the midst of it all.

OUR CALLING TO A SOUL CENTER

Because of our frequent traveling and recent moving, we are a part of so many wonderful church communities. However, we wish to have a ministry in our home to call our own. We are part of CenterPoint Church, East Gate Church, and Christ Church. Because we do not come from a ministry background in our family, we our pioneering this journey all the way. We hope to reach the lives of many people and preach the gospel.

I am so grateful to God that the Holy Spirit and Christian Leaders Institute has equipped me for this journey into ministry and creating a soul center. The best part is I get to do it with my hubby, my best friend, by my side. May God be our guide!

It was through daily ceaseless praying where I found God’s guidance. It was through speaking the word of God everyday against the enemy. God will fight this battle and you will come out victorious! I declare this over your lives in Jesus’ name!

The Only Light

I was delivered from a life from drug addiction, and had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. He not only saved me, but changed my life; and now I am preaching his Word, His love and grace to everyone. My ministry is simple, I preach His Word on mainly on TIKTOK; and also Youtube. My objective is to reach the lost.

To carry the message of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to the lost.

The Watchman

Hi, I’m Brad. I live in Eagle Mountain, Utah, with my wife of 18 years Alix. I got an online ordination in 2010 and didn’t think much about it until I was asked in May 2025 to officiate at my wife’s brother’s wedding. It stirred something inside me as I began to research different weddings and beliefs, and I realized I wanted to expand my knowledge and understanding of God, Jesus, the Bible and ministry. I’m looking forward to learning all I can and using it to benefit my fellow man.

From the age of 13 until 33, I had no need for God or Jesus. I just wanted to have fun, do whatever felt good, be as rebellious as possible without going to jail (although I did manage to see the inside of a jail a couple times). Growing up where there was only church or no church, I had no relationship with the Lord. I sinned. I got into alcohol and drugs. When I joined the Coast Guard at the age of 20, everywhere I went the first thing I did was find the closest EM club or bar and gravitate towards the ‘party crowd’. It’s where I found companionship, although it was never there the next morning. I was never proud of anything I did, other than play my guitar and sing.

I had a wife and three daughters when I felt the need to get back to church, and I went back to the only one I knew-the LDS church. It was familiar, it was my heritage, it was home. I had known for years about the oddities but accepted them because it was ‘our church’. I felt looking anywhere else would be an insult to my family. And so there I stayed for the next 30 years, until I was visited by a white lion who brought me out of the fog of indoctrination and into the true light of Christ.

I have seen others on here who go to great lengths to slam the LDS church. I feel if you want to know why people leave the church, the truth is out there to be found. I no longer practice the faith I was raised in but I don’t expend my efforts throwing shade on what someone else believes. I can tell you from a lifetime of experience that it isn’t easy breaking out of the mold, but it can be done when you stop drinking the Kool-Aid. My calling is to help those who seek help, not to drag other religions through the mud. Cult or not, that’s not my choice to make.

I am now an ordained chaplain, police chaplain, veterans’ chaplain, disaster response & community crisis chaplain, hospital chaplain. I am in the process of starting a Soul Center for veterans and first responders; it will be The Watchman Soul Center. I’m hoping to be able to reach out to others in Utah County who are seeking something outside of organized religion. Having served in the military for 20 years, and spent time as a reserve deputy sheriff, reserve police sergeant, firefighter and EMT, I have a little insight into the veteran and first responder soul.

I’m looking forward to continuing my studies with CLI/CLA and furthering my knowledge of Jesus. And if I am able to help one soul find direction in this life it will all be worth it.
