Shepherds Heart Christian Ministries

As a chaplain, I am called to walk alongside people during life’s most difficult moments, offering Christ-centered care, hope, and encouragement. Whether someone is facing grief, addiction recovery, illness, loneliness, spiritual questions, or simply needs someone to pray with, our desire is to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (NIV) ~ “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

Our mission is to reflect the compassion of Jesus Christ by walking alongside people during life’s most difficult moments. We believe God comforts us so that we can extend His comfort to others. Whether someone is experiencing grief, addiction recovery, illness, loneliness, spiritual questions, or simply needs someone to pray with, our desire is to offer hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ.

Our goal is to see people come to know Jesus Christ personally, grow in their faith, and discover God’s purpose for their lives. We encourage believers to develop a daily walk with Christ through prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and sharing their faith with others.

Through local outreach, chaplaincy ministry, community service, prayer, and one-on-one encouragement, we seek to share the Gospel with compassion while connecting people to healthy local churches and Christian fellowship. Everyone is welcome. Whether you are searching for hope, need someone to pray with you, or want to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, Shepherds Heart Christian Ministries is here to serve.

Getting to Know Me

I am a husband of my wonderful wife of 27 years, Amie. We are the parents of 5 loving children and soon to be 2 grandchildren. I have been studying at Christian Leaders Institute and have earned a Diploma in Christian Ministry with honors. I am currently working on earning my Pastoral certification through Christian Leaders Alliance.

My Coming to Christ and Calling to Ministry

From as far back as I can remember, I have wanted to be a Minister for God. Like so many though, life led me in a different direction. Not too long ago, I was faced with Covid and was told I wasn’t going to make it. After praying to God and asking for healing, He answered my prayers. In doing so, I know that He wants me to go out into the world and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

My Calling to this Soul Center

Sharing God’s amazing love and grace has become the driving force in my life. I love sharing my testimony and teaching others how to grow a closer relationship with the Lord. My family and I also attend Hope City Church in Midway NC, and we would love to see you visit us there.

Who I Serve

While currently my ministry is online with no physical location, I love talking about the Lord with anyone God brings into my life. You can easily spot me in town with my “Ask Me About Jesus” shirt or me just randomly telling you that God Loves You while you are in line at the grocery store. I never pass up an opportunity to smile and share God’s love with those I meet.

My Ministry

Currently My ministry can be found on my YouTube page and on My Facebook Business Page. I have a website where you can find my blog which also has the sermon notes from my YouTube videos. There is a place to send prayer requests or to contact me directly. As my ministry grows, I plan to add more interactive features to my website.

Sound of Salvation Ministries

Sound of Salvation Ministries is led by Steven West and his wife, Cindy. Together, they have several ministry outreaches that serve the community.

Sound of Salvation Pantry

Sound of Salvation Pantry provides pop-up pantry services to a three-county area in North Carolina. The primary focus is on the monthly food boxes delivered to clients who cannot reach a traditional pantry. Their program also offers quarterly projects that target specific groups: senior citizens, students, first responders, service members, and veterans.

Sound of Salvation Mentoring and Counseling

Sound of Salvation Mentoring and Counseling offers mentoring to those who want a stronger relationship with the Lord. This program supports those who wish to become pastors, ministers, deacons, mentors, or lay leaders. It is also open to those who want a closer relationship with Jesus. We use Christian Leaders as source material for this program. Pastoral counseling and chaplaincy services also fall under this program. We offer Zoom/ Meet and in-person meetings. This program serves clients and mentees locally, nationally, and internationally.

Aisle 10 Coaching and Counseling

Aisle 10 is our professional Christian-based Life and Mental Health Coaching Program. Steve received his Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach and Certified Trauma- Informed Coach certifications. This includes Master Diplomas in Mental Health Coaching: Youth Mental Health, Trauma- Informed Coaching, and Military and First Responders from Light University. Steve is also a Licensed Life Coach Minister through Christian Leaders. This program also offers pre-marriage and relationship counseling. We plan to add licensed professional counseling, ReEntry, and addiction recovery services as we obtain the necessary licenses and certifications. Depending on circumstances, most programs are in person, though they may be via Zoom or Meet.

Officiant Services

Sound of Salvation Ministries also offers Officiant services. We offer weddings (pre- marriage counseling is required), funerals, baptisms, and dedication services.

Stonebridge Ministries

  • Getting to Know Us

We are Ronnie and Sandy Hoskins, and we have been blessed to share life together in marriage since 1982. God has blessed us with five children—two by birth and three whom we joyfully welcomed into our family through adoption—as well as two wonderful grandchildren for whom we are deeply grateful. Sandy and I first met at Bible college, where our journey in ministry began together. Since that time, the Lord has opened many doors for us to serve Him. We have pastored a small church, officiated funerals, prayed with those who were sick or nearing the end of life, and shared the hope of Christ with many people. We believe God has called us to serve Him faithfully, and we trust He will continue to guide and use our lives until the day we meet Him face to face.

Our key ministry verse is:
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,”
(2Timothy 1:9 NIV)

  • Our Coming to Christ and Calling to Ministry

We have both walked with God since our youth. Sandy is the daughter of a Pentecostal Minister and has been involved in ministry for most of her life. Over the years, she has faithfully served in the church through teaching and childcare ministries. Sandy was saved when she was nine years old and baptized at the age of eighteen. Ronnie was saved when he was ten years old during a revival meeting and was baptized three months later. When Ronnie was thirteen, he attended a summer youth camp where the Holy Spirit stirred in him a deep desire to tell others about Jesus and His saving grace. It is Ronnie’s desire to be a light for Jesus and to guide lost souls to the light of Jesus. (Joh 8:12 ESV),

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Ronnie and Sandy are members of Yukon First Church of the Nazarene, where Ronnie occasionally leads the midweek worship service. He also serves as a substitute Sunday School teacher, teaching whenever and wherever he is needed.

  • Our Calling to this Soul Center

Our calling is to build meaningful friendships with people in our local community who may not yet be connected to a church. As an ordained minister, Ronnie is available to provide ministry support when needs arise, including officiating weddings or funerals, administering the sacraments, visiting those who are ill, and offering comfort during seasons of stress or hardship. Above all, we desire this ministry to be guided by the Holy Spirit, so that those who are lost may come to know the Lord and believers may experience peace and renewal for their souls. We believe the primary purpose of a Soul Center is to help people connect with Christ so their souls can flourish. James 5:20 ESV says, “let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”

  • Who We Serve

We are grateful for every opportunity God gives us to serve people in our community, our church, and our family.

  • Our Ministry

Our passion is to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ with family, friends, and especially with those who do not yet know Him. As needs arise, we are available to support others through officiating services, administering the sacraments, visiting the sick, and offering comfort during seasons of stress, grief, or hardship. We are also committed to a strong prayer ministry, believing that prayer is at the heart of every Christian ministry.

Psalms 145:18-19 ESV,  “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (19)  He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.”

Sunrise Fellowship

Sunrise Fellowship was named after Gods gift of new graces every morning, people often take the morning sunrise for granted not caring that mornings were never promised, but through God we are given the blessing to wake up and have another day to live. The name is to remind people to stop and enjoy the morning sunrise as it is a gift from God and how great is he for allowing us to see another sunrise. Through this blessing and his grace we should be gratefully and thank Him. God is good all the time!

The Dove Ministry

Pastor David May – Life Coach Ministry

Founder of The Dove Ministry

Greetings, my name is Pastor David May, and I am the founder of The Dove Ministry, established in December 2023. As a certified Life Coach minister, I am committed to empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives. My mission is rooted in faith, resilience, and the transformative power of Jesus Christ.

• Vision and Goals

My primary goal is to create a coaching practice that focuses on holistic development, addressing career, personal, spiritual, and emotional well-being. By integrating life coaching principles with ministerial guidance, I strive to provide a support system that helps individuals navigate life’s challenges with resilience and faith.

I also plan to host workshops and seminars that promote self-awareness, personal growth, and spiritual enrichment. These events will provide a sense of community and equip participants with practical tools for self-improvement. Through collaboration with local organizations and religious institutions, I hope to extend my reach by offering tailored programs such as youth mentorship, family counseling, and leadership development.

Through The Dove Ministry, I am reaching out worldwide, creating a ripple effect of positive change. By helping individuals transform their lives, I believe we can collectively build a stronger, more compassionate community.

• Faith in Times of Hardship

Life is often filled with uncertainty, suffering, and challenges that test our faith. During these moments, I turn to Scripture for guidance and reassurance. One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse reminds us that God’s plans for our lives extend beyond our current circumstances, offering hope and prosperity even in the midst of hardship.

Jesus Himself warned us in John 16:33: “In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” While pain and evil are part of our earthly story, God’s promises transcend our suffering. His plans are rooted in love, and we can trust Him to bring good out of even the darkest situations.

• My Journey and Calling

I have walked with God since my youth, discerning His call to ministry as early as the 1970s. Inspired by the victorious life of Jesus Christ, I minister to those I encounter along my journey, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through me. As a former convict, I have personally experienced the transformative power of Jesus Christ, and I am confident that He can do the same for others.

My mission is to help individuals overcome life-controlling issues such as addiction to drugs, alcohol, and pornography. Through the grace and power of Jesus Christ, I am empowered to share God’s love, nurture spiritual growth, and foster positive relationships within the community. This transformation leads to a change in character, attitude, and action for those who genuinely seek Him.

• Biblical Inspiration

Scripture serves as the foundation of my ministry. Verses such as James 4:7-10 and 2 Timothy 2:3-19 remind us to submit to God, resist the devil, and remain faithful even in suffering. As soldiers of Christ, we are called to endure hardships, obey His teachings, and focus on our divine purpose.

The parable of the Good Samaritan also inspires my work. It teaches us to love our neighbors, extend mercy, and recognize our spiritual poverty. We are reminded that salvation comes not from our deeds but through the mercy of Jesus Christ. Acting as the Good Samaritan is a response to the grace we have already received, not a means to earn God’s favor.

• Final Thoughts

In Christ, we have hope. In His guidance, there is victory. My mission is to serve, uplift, and inspire others on their journey toward a life of meaning and purpose. Through The Dove Ministry, I will help individuals overcome challenges, grow spiritually, and experience the transformative power of God’s love.

GETTING TO KNOW US
Greetings, beloved! I am Minister Cummings, a devoted Christian with a heart full of compassion and a passion for sharing the love of Christ. It is engraved in this vessel to help guide and uplift souls through the Word of God. My mission is to inspire faith, foster spiritual growth, and build a community founded on the principles of love, hope, and grace. By my commitment to serving others, I strive to create a welcoming space where all can find solace, inspiration, and a deeper connection with our Savior. Let us walk this journey of faith together, hand in hand, as we seek to glorify God in all that we do.

COMING TO CHRIST AND OUR MINISTRY CALLING
My Christian journey began many years ago when I wanted to play football for a local church in my community. I started playing for the church but hadn’t been to any of their services. The pastor at the time came and told me that I wouldn’t be allowed to continue playing for the church unless I started attending at least one of the services, so I did. I began attending the youth fellowship service on Friday evenings, until I also began attending the main service on Sundays.
Even though I was attending the church, I still had no desire to serve the lord, my only goal was to play football. One day, I met one of my high-school friends that I haven’t seen in a while. The last time I saw him, he was very rebellious in image and persona, many were afraid of him back then. This time seeing him however was different, he was well dressed, he talked respectfully and admirably, and he just seemed like a completely different person. He began to minister to me about the lord and I listened and believed him, because of how drastic his change was. From then I began seeking the lord for myself and the journey continues.

CALL TO THIS SOUL CENTER
After being involved in Church activities for a while, I realized that there are some who although they are active participants in service for the church, they feel lacking in areas related to their spiritual growth and development in their calling. Upon seeing this deficit, we began this soul center to help facilitate these and other areas of growth.

WHO WE SERVE
We welcome all who are seeking to form a true relationship with Christ, and not just merely seeking religion.
