Apostolic Way Ministries

Apostolic Way Ministries is an independent Apostolic Pentecostal ministry which strives to maintain the fundamentals of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith (The Acts 2:38 message, Jesus Name baptism, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and operating in the gifts of the Spirit). We strive to pass this down to the generations that come after us and to as many as the Lord our God will call; as scripture states in Acts 2:39, “For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” We strive to walk with Jesus and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and extend the gospel message to all that we may encounter. Like the apostle Paul stated, “Although I am free from all and not anyone’s slave, I have made myself a slave to everyone in order to win more people. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law – though I myself am not under the law – to win those under the law. To those who are without the law, like one without the law – though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ – to win those without the law. To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.” 1 Corinthians 9:19-22 CSB. We strive to maintain the Spirit of the law rather than to solely focus on the letter of the law lest we become legalistic or as modern day Pharisees. By this means and to this end it is the goal of Apostolic Way Ministries to extend the gospel message to as many as we shall encounter and as many as the Lord our God will call; inviting them to receive a personal relationship and encounter with the One whose all-encompassing love, abundant grace, and objective truth will forever change the course of their lives, Jesus Christ!

GETTING TO KNOW THE MINISTER

My name is Brandon Vercher. In my professional life I have served in first response for many years. I served as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) with an Ambulance Service, as a Firefighter/EMT with a Fire Department as well as serving as their EMS Director and one of their Fire Service / EMS Instructors, as an EMS Educator with an Emergency Services Education company, and then for several years as a Law Enforcement Officer having served in both Patrol and School Resource Officer capacities. Before which I served in the mental health field as a Mental Health Technician and in several capacities in the private security and private investigations industries. My experience in First Response has given me an unfiltered view into the crises our world is currently facing; from mental health issues, to drug abuse, to domestic violence, to child abuse/neglect/abandonment, to crimes of violence, to active shooter situations, and the list goes on and on. It has also given me insight into the trauma that first responders themselves experience within their time in service. As a Law Enforcement Officer one may never know what traffic stop or call for service may be their last. They may never know what morning or evening they put on that uniform and go in for shift may be the last time that they see their home or kiss their family goodbye. They do all of this while being berated, fought, spit on, shot at, threatened, having their families threatened, etc. And all of this while operating within the dynamics of complex office politics. I say all of that to say this. There is no doubt that the world that we are living in is in a fallen state due to sin. And there is no doubt in the scripture when it states, “But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 CSB. I have even experienced such within personal narcissistically abusive relationships. We are living in a time that now more than ever the world needs Jesus. Well, let’s be real though, the world has always needed Jesus. We have been living like this since the fall of man.

My point in saying all of this in a simple introduction to myself is to say that I am someone who has experienced life. I am battle-worn as are most of us these days. And while I loved serving my community as a first responder and it had always been one of my dreams since I was a child. It was meant to be for a season. Because at my core I am a minister. I was called at a young age. I have had a passion for God since my youth. I was baptized in Jesus’ Name and later received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at youth camp. The call grew heavy on me during my junior high and high school years. Although I can remember my mother saying I used to preach to my stuffed animals long before that haha. I even remember attempting to make a church out of the old shed that stood in our backyard when I was a child. Anyway, I was meant to go to bible college and preach and teach. But the distractions of the world and teenage angst and rebellion took it’s hold for a while. But in my adulthood I came back to it, the faith and the call. But again, in life we go through things. And it would seem that every time I grew close to achieving progress toward that calling something would happen to throw me off course. I’ve experienced divorce and traumatic relationships. I’ve also experienced my own running from the call. I’ve also experienced the ole church red tape that would seem insurmountable at times. But God’s call never left me. And He’s always brought me back to it. So what I want to express here is that I am by no means perfect. None of us are. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. That is the point of the gospel message. Jesus paid that price for us. That is the good news. Redemption. Restoration. Forgiveness. Grace. Love. Truth. We find all of these things in Jesus Christ. When God looks at us He sees us spotless because He’s looking at us through the blood of Jesus. And that blood covers it all my friends. If we’ve called on Him and claimed that free gift that faith in Him and His accomplished work and redemptive atonement for our sins on the cross offers us. Then we are able to claim that promised gift of the baptism of Holy Ghost and begin a whole new miraculous life in Him. So I want to deliver that good news to as many as I can. Are you ready to start that wonderful journey? So as for me I am a minister. That is who and what God has called me to be. And that is what I will always be, no matter my life circumstance, no matter who I am talking to, no matter where I am, no matter what is happening in the world around me. I am a minister of our Lord Jesus Christ. “When I came to you, brothers and sisters, announcing the mystery of God to you, I did not come with brilliance of speech or wisdom. I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not be based on human wisdom but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and in difficulties, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. In God’s Kingdom everything is upside down, the first shall be last and the last shall be first; and He will turn your world upside down too, in the best of ways! Are you ready for your world to be shaken up? Are you ready for the amazing journey He has in store for you? Then dive on in and let’s walk this road and take this journey together!

Biblical Faith & Reasoning

Getting to Know Me:
I am David Lee Brown. I was raised in Orlando, Florida, and saved and baptized in the First Baptist Church Pine Castle in Orlando, Florida. Since 1979 I have been a born-again believer dedicated to serving my Lord, Jesus Christ. I spent 20 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Before completing my career, I earned a Bachelor of Science from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Since then, I’ve been a lifelong learner of the natural sciences and the Bible through reading and studying the Bible multiple times in self-study. Then I started my studies at Christian Leaders Institute in 2018. I have taught Sunday school to youth and adults. I’ve preached from the pulpit. Now I serve as a soul center for my community.
My Calling:
My calling is writing and teaching about all things Biblical. I completed and published my first book King David, Conflicting Worldviews, in 2013. I finished and published my second book, Transfigured to Serve, a Glimpse of Eternity, in 2014. I initially established my website to advertise my books, but I’ve added features over the years. I write an almost weekly Blog to share what I’ve learned and share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ve also posted sermons, a discipleship program, and my mission and statement of faith. I’ve done all this to open people’s hearts and minds to the saving knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
My Soul Center Calling:
Inspired by my new-found credentials from Christian Leaders Alliance, I’m opening my heart, knowledge, experience, and skills to my community as a soul center. My Biblical Faith & Reasoning soul center will serve my church, Proffit’s Grove Baptist Church, and my community through teaching, officiant services, and Life Coach services. In Jesus’ name!
Who I Serve:
I enjoy writing and teaching the Word of God to bring souls to the saving knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus to the English-speaking world. I also desire to serve my community by providing pre-marital counseling and wedding services for Christian couples. I also want to serve people in my community with Christian Life Coaching services. I intend to specialize in helping pastors, evangelists, and other church leaders through Life Coaching.
Souls Involved:
My “Author” page on Facebook has 308 followers, which is also my Biblical Faith & Reasoning Page. Many of them are not local, but many are, so I will serve any of them that are local and request my services. I’ll also continue to share my writing with the English-speaking world through my Biblical Faith & Reasoning soul center.

Blue Jay Ministries

Blue Jay Ministries

Overview
Blue Jay Ministries, led by credentialed minister Danielle “Dani” Deuter and her son Kyle, is dedicated to sharing the message of Jesus Christ and fostering spiritual growth in the rv communities. Our mission is deeply rooted in the legacy of Ethan Lee, Dani’s son, who tragically lost his life in a car accident one year after declaring his faith in Jesus. Ethan’s desire was for everyone to know Christ, and we aim to honor his memory through our ministry.

Ministerial Offerings
• Prayer Services
• Officiant Services for Weddings and Baptisms
• Bible Studies for All Ages
• Teaching and Life Coaching
• Support for Grief and Child Loss

Our Mission
Blue Jay Ministries travels across the United States in our RV, engaging with individuals and families wherever they are. We strive to meet people in their current life situations and introduce them to the love, redemption, and relationship with Jesus that aligns with the teachings of the early church. Our approach includes:
• Community Building: We focus on breaking bread together, sharing life experiences, and studying scripture to strengthen our faith and community ties.
• Discipleship: We are committed to raising up the next generation of disciples who are equipped to carry forward the message of Christ.
• Support and Guidance: We offer comfort and guidance to those navigating grief, particularly from child loss, and provide opportunities for baptisms and wedding officiant services.

Focus on the Nomadic Community
While we are open to serving anyone, our primary focus is on the nomadic community, particularly those who frequent campgrounds. Many individuals we encounter have shared their hesitations about attending traditional church services due to reasons such as:
• Previous negative church experiences
• Discomfort with the political aspects of organized religion
• A transient lifestyle that makes it challenging to connect with a local church

By creating a welcoming environment around potlucks and campfires, we provide a space for meaningful connections and discussions about faith. This often leads to spiritual transformations, including salvations and baptisms. We maintain ongoing relationships through virtual Bible studies and prayer groups, ensuring that our community remains connected and supported.

Conclusion
At Blue Jay Ministries, we are passionate about meeting people where they are and guiding them toward a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ. Together, we can navigate life’s challenges and celebrate its joys, fostering a community rooted in faith and love.

Called Out

At Called Out, we take great joy in nurturing ministers! Scott feels a calling to disciple others, empowering them to disciple in turn. He has shared his teaching expertise across various Bible study environments.

We are passionate about spreading the faith to those who have yet to know Jesus Christ or are exploring Christianity. Scott finds fulfillment in ministering to individuals and families he encounters in different walks of life.

Our vision is to cultivate ministry leaders who can emulate Jesus’ model of ministry. To achieve this, we gather weekly, both in homes and public spaces. We pray for deeper community connections with Jesus and for God to continually unite the believers in our community.

We meet each week at 6:00pm. The evening begins with a potluck dinner, sometimes we have themed dinners. We spend about an hour eating and socializing. It is important to be able to live life together and have time to share what the Lord is doing in each of our lives.

This is followed with a bible study lesson that lasts for about 45 minutes. We encourage participation and questions during each study. This allows each person to learn from the others that are present. After the bible study, we dismiss and are usually done by 8:00pm.

Called Out, nestled in the heart of Fredericktown, Missouri, is shepherded by the compassionate Ordained Minister Scott Bates alongside his devoted wife, Mandy. A disabled veteran, Scott pours his heart into nurturing the local church and uplifting the community through the sacred art of ministry.

Choose Jesus Ministries

I am Pastor Gary Burney. I am an Ordained Minister through CLI.

My mom led me to Jesus Christ when I was six years old. By the time I was eight years old, Jesus had called me into His ministry. Jesus would require me to wait fifty-five years before He made His calling upon my life a reality. It wasn’t until I was retired and relocated up to upper-Michigan and began studying at CLI that God placed the calling once again upon my heart to begin a ministry.

I have always been interested in the nursing home ministry due to having served in a nursing home ministry as a child in a Baptist Church.

As an Ordained Minister, it is interesting, I insist that I am a volunteer minister like the Apostle Paul. I placed an ad in our local newspaper advertising for a position as a non-paid minister, in any small church. I ran this ad for a month in the church section and never received a single call.

After that failure, I called nursing homes and the Lord God opened doors and placed my ministry, Choose Jesus Ministries, in three nursing homes each week. We do full worship services and serve the Lord’s Supper weekly. I am a non-denominational minister. I make the services comfortable for everyone.
Recently the Lord has opened the door for Choose Jesus Ministries to take the gospel into another nursing home. This gives us four facilities weekly to spread God’s word and lead people to Christ.

We also go into people’s homes and perform worship services for people who are shut-in’s, and who are ill.

One man is an ALS patient. His family attends the service.

People like it when I go into their rooms and homes and sing to them and play my red electric guitar. That seems to bring them joy. Singing and playing the guitar is a talent the Lord has blessed my with.

One patient, his name is Greg, he is on life supports, his wife’s name is Jan, He gives me a thumbs up as I sing a few songs for him.

My mom and I perform a worship service at this nursing home weekly where Greg and Jan are in upper-Michigan.

God has called me to this ministry. He has given me special gifts for this work. He gives me opportunities frequently to lead people to the Lord, as my first calling is to be an Evangelist. All the work I do for the Lord, I do as a volunteer minister.
